I wrote a favorite finds post for 2017 and then promptly skipped 2018 and 2019. So, I am back for 2020! My Favorite Finds are all items that were new to me in 2020 and made an impact on my life in both big and small ways. Maybe one of these items will be new to you or will inspire you to create/share your own list. Tag me if you do!
I found this company at the start of the Pandemic and have order several puzzles this year. We love the designs!
2. Faux Fur Rug.
I first noticed these at Costco in November and proceeded to purchase 6 of them. Two of them were gifts for my mom, but we now have 4 in our house. They add the perfect amount of cozy to any room or spot in your home. And such a great deal at $19.99.
3. PJ Set.
I bought three sets of these JCrew Pajamas this year, 1 for me (in blue + white) and 1 each for my older girls (pink + red). They are so comfortable, wash well, haven’t shrunk and we have been LIVING in them since December! Thankfully I purchased over Black Friday when they were 50%!
4. This drink.
I found this spiked seltzer drink this year at Trader Joe’s and it quickly became a favorite. Especially good on a hot day. Meyer lemon is my favorite. I tried the lime version and I didn’t care for it all.
5. Trip to Glacier.
After basically being home bound since mid-March, we took a last minute trip to Glacier in October for my birthday. This quick get-a-way was the perfect timing and gave us a much needed change of pace for a few days. I can’t believe this was my first time to Glacier. We seriously scored on the weather as well.
We had tickets to Taylor’s Lover concert for July 2020. I can’t remember when we found out that they were cancelled, but her two surprise album releases this year certainly helped ease the disappointment. Folklore and Evermore have pretty much been playing on repeat in our house since they released. We also loved her Folklore special on Disney+ and Miss Americana Documentary on Netflix.
7. This Find.
Loving this oak dresser I found on Facebook Marketplace for $125. It was missing one wheel and lopsided when I purchased it, so it now has 4 brand new matching wheels and a is my new favorite thing in our living room. I am mildly obsessed with that black lamp as well - found at World Market.
8. Trampoline.
We’ve never owned a trampoline before, but that all changed in April. Once school was cancelled in March, it became clear that we would be spending a lot of time at home. We needed something else for our youngest to do (and preferably something she could do on her own)…a trampoline was the solution. Ours came from Walmart and I was happy we bought it when we did because they became hard to find by late Spring.
9. Mini Kitchen Remodel.
We’ve wanted to make this change for awhile and finally decided to go for it. We replaced our sink, faucet, backsplash tile, and the outer counters went from gold/black granite to white/gray quartz. A relatively small change with big impact (and without going through a major kitchen remodel).

10. Grecian Bust Pot
This “bust” was a gift from my husband for Christmas (I bought it for him to give to me!) and I absolutely love it. I plan to change out the contents in her “head” with the changing seasons. :-)
