I met the Lordan family in 2014 when Ruby turned one! When I arrived for this latest session and saw sweet little Ruby RUNNING towards me, my heart skipped a beat! She isn’t a little baby anymore and I couldn’t believe how much she had changed and grown! Ah! It’s moments like these that remind me of all the reasons why I do what I do. Feeling so grateful for the gift of photography and for families that come back year after year.
Isn't she just the cutest little thing?! :-)
See Ruby's first year session here!
When we first met on the phone, Kelli and I discovered we had about 1,000 connections between the two of us so it was like seeing an old friend by the time we met in person!
Most of my fall family sessions take place in natural areas with lots of changing leaves, so getting a chance to shoot an urban session was a nice change of pace!
I truly love working with clients year after year and watching families grow - this is session #5 for the Solberg family!
I am pretty sure my 6 year old would move in with this family if I let her.
Wow! We couldn’t have picked a better fall day for this family session!
A family session at home was the perfect way to photograph this busy family of four.
I think we encountered a record number of weather patterns during this family session - sun, wind, and even intermittent rain fell throughout the evening
Watching Ruby take care of and hold her little brother was my favorite part of this session!
I received this text from my client the day or so after their session…
With 3/4 of their kids in their 20's now, it's getting harder and harder for the Alley Family to all be in the same place.
