These sweet friends come to town every summer for vacation and I love it when they are able to carve out time for a family session. This year they drove all the way back home to Sammamish, WA after their session and experienced car trouble on the way. It turned into a very late and long trip - not the best way to end your vacation! I am so sorry! Sophie is 14 and James is 12 now - growing like crazy and keeping busy with friends, sports, and school. Shaliena and Kurt just celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary. I especially love the photos of just the two of them - such sweet expressions and beautiful light!
