Intimate Spring Wedding at Riverside State Park | Spokane, WA

James + Natalie | 5.07.21

Before James moved here, he visited me for a week. One day we had an emotional talk under a tree by a church by my house. We talked about everything he could do here if he moved, how we would get him here, and if it was a good idea for him to uproot everything in North Carolina. This tree became a really special memory for us and we’d always mention it when we walked by.
On our second anniversary in August, we planned a fun day of horse back riding and good food. After we came home, we went for a walk to the tree and James proposed underneath it.

James and Natalie were married on May 7, 2021, at Riverside State Park with both of their parents in attendance. Their intimate ceremony included handwritten vows and a beautiful view of the Spokane River. The celebration continued with a late lunch at Clinkerdaggers, followed by a night at the Davenport Hotel. They honeymooned in Seattle and then spent some time wine tasting in Walla Walla.

Congratulations James and Natalie! It was an honor to be part of your wedding day!
