This was a very special extended family session for the Ottoson’s on their family farm. I have had the pleasure of knowing this family for the past 5 years as I have held many sessions on their beautiful property over the years. They have always been incredibly welcoming and generous with the use of their property. They are in the midst of renovations and planning to host weddings on the farm in the near future. They are breathing new life into this farm that once housed dairy cows, hogs, chickens, and turkeys and was originally established in 1921. It was an honor to photograph this kind family and I especially love that we were able to get so many photos of sweet Vera Ottoson. Vera celebrated her 93rd birthday just two months after this session.
I was deeply saddened to hear that Vera passed away on December 23rd. She was deeply loved and cherished by many and I will always remember her sweet smile and her generous spirit. She was beautiful. God bless you Vera. xo
