It’s hard to imagine your senior year ending so abruptly in the middle of March only to never return to your High School again. The class of 2020 has faced many disappointments over the last several months and lost out on their spring sports season, final performances, senior award assemblies, senior recognition events, prom, and of course a traditional graduation ceremony. I know all this loss was so hard on parents as well. My heart truly goes out to this class as I know these final events and special moments are such significant milestones for all seniors and their families.
In an effort to celebrate and recognize this class as much as possible, I jumped at the yard sign idea. These started popping up all over social media and I loved the idea. I worked with Signs365 and the process was extremely easy and fast! The best part about this little project was seeing my seniors again as they stopped by my house to pick up their sign.
I also held Cap + Gown Mini Sessions for the first time. I needed to wait until Spokane was officially in Phase 2 before I could start shooting again, but the timing ended up being perfect as I was able to hold these quick sessions just a few days before all the drive-by graduation events took place.
The Class of 2020 will always hold a special place in my heart. Cheers to YOU and YOUR FUTURE!
Much love and congratulations! xo
