A warm 55 degrees and sunshine made this November session feel more like early October, the only difference was that most of the leaves had already fallen. I love this session because Krista and Jared played and laughed with their boys the entire time. I can’t tell you what a difference it makes in the final images…genuine and authentic moments are always the best and I believe they are the most beloved images for years to come.

And I just heard that the DeJong’s are expecting baby #3! Congratulations! What wonderful news!

Frater Family

I first met the Fraters back in 2004 when I moved in across the street from them. It’s hard to believe that 12 years have passed?! Both of us have since moved away from that neighborhood, but have kept in contact via Facebook. It’s not easy to book a family session when your kids are grown and have lives of their own, but Connie was determined to make it happen! Their last official session was seven years and it was time for new photos. This family still gets together for dinner on Sunday evenings and recently traveled to Texas together. I saw photos of them at the Magnolia Silos in Waco! Connie, I need details because I am dying to go there! :-)

Endres Family

You won’t believe this, but we shot this entire session in the rain! It started to sprinkle just as we arrived and thankfully everyone powered through to make it work! Audrey (age 8) is a little angel in front of the camera and is all about posing for me and corralling her little brother, Henry! At 2 1/2 he was not interested in being still, so we had lots of fun playing chase and jumping in the leaves!
