As one of the photographers for Beauty Revived's 50 Most Beautiful Teachers campaign, I was asked to select and photograph one teacher in my community in an effort to honor them and celebrate their real beauty.

Claire had her heart set on a classic look for her senior session and naturally picked Manito Park for the location.
Fowler Family
If you don’t know the Fowler family, I hope someday you will have the chance to meet them. I adore these people and love the way they love each other and all those around them. They requested a home session and I was excited to be able to capture them in their space in an authentic and meaningful way. It’s not often that you walk in the door to start your session and your clients greet you by offering you a beer! This was such a fun evening of family time filled with catching grasshoppers, jumping on the trampoline, swinging on tire swings, reading books, playing piano, singing, and last but not least…popsicles. The Fowlers are the real deal and I loved every minute.
I must add that Ben Fowler is the genius behind this video. When I watch this, I still can’t believe it’s about me and my business?! I was a hobbyist for so long and didn’t think it was possible to turn my love of photography into a business. I often remind myself that this little business thing is truly happening and growing! DeJong Family
A warm 55 degrees and sunshine made this November session feel more like early October, the only difference was that most of the leaves had already fallen. I love this session because Krista and Jared played and laughed with their boys the entire time. I can’t tell you what a difference it makes in the final images…genuine and authentic moments are always the best and I believe they are the most beloved images for years to come.
And I just heard that the DeJong’s are expecting baby #3! Congratulations! What wonderful news!
