Favorite Finds | 2017

I was inspired by this post written by Emily of Jones Design Company and decided I would come up with my own "favorites" list from 2017. My Favorite Finds are all items that were new to me in 2017 and made an impact on my life in small and big ways. Maybe one of these items will be new to you this year or inspire you to create/share your own list. This was a fun little project and I am already thinking that this should be an annual post!

1. This show.

I finally watched Downton Abbey! Hands down my favorite show of 2017! I am still sad that it's over. 

Honorable mentions include: Victoria, The Crown, and The Paradise. Do you notice a theme here?!

2. These sheets.

I bought these sheets and love them! Thank you Target + Nate Berkus! This dotted triangle pattern is my favorite.

3. This Drink.

I first heard about the Medicine Ball aka Cold Buster Drink from Starbucks via Instagram stories in the fall.  I was really sick in mid November and tried one of these and it tasted like Heaven in a cup! I am a fan!

4. This Preset Pack

I edit everything in Lightroom and have used a wide variety of Presets over the years. But in the Spring I invested in presets from Mastin Labs and I won't ever go back! They are amazing and have transformed my work. The Portra Pushed pack is my favorite.

5. This coat.

A birthday gift (that I picked out for myself) from JCrew. Favorite coat ever and I got it on sale!

6. These lights.

The Hektar Pendant Lamps from Ikea. We bought the 19" version for our dining room and 2 of the 9" pendants to go above the kitchen island. These lights are very affordable and I love the change! PS. We still do not have an Ikea in Spokane, but I was able to order these online.

7. This App.

1 Second Everyday. I started using this app in December 2016. Mostly because I liked the idea of condensing all our videos, but not actually having to edit them all to make one movie. I decided I would give it a try for the month and I loved it. I kept going in January and decided to record all of 2017 this way. It is SO easy to use, the hardest part is just remembering to take the video! I am planning to write a full blog post about this little treasure later this month. Such a great recap of our year!

8. This Letterboard.

Letterboards are popping up everywhere! I bought one from Oak + Made in November. It's such a fun addition to our family room. This is the 16x20 size and fits perfectly above Emi's desk/table.
