I live just 10 minutes away from my parents and they still live in the house I grew up in. My brother, sister, and their families also live near. All together there are 17 of us. It can be a little chaotic when we are all together, but mostly it's pretty amazing and I am grateful to have siblings, nieces, nephews, and my parents so close. I took these pictures last fall right after my Dad's 70th birthday and they were all taken right on their property. I adore these images of my parents and today is their 49th Anniversary! I owe so much of who I am today to these two. Their love for each other and for our family is contagious. They are quick to help and serve others. They love life and adventure and have a deep faith and love for the Lord. They have given us all such a beautiful example of what it means to unconditionally love one another. I am forever grateful.
Happy Anniversary you two lovebirds!!
And after photos of my parents I followed up with mini sessions for everyone else! First, my sister and her family...
My brother and his family...
Longmeier family in 2013.
My family...
And these group shots of all 17 of us made possible by my tripod and timer...the light kept changing and it was not easy! So after about a million and one attempts we settled on this one. And I love the last image of all the cousins together. I love my people!
