Mini Sessions | October 2016
Well, after two years in a row of fabulous weather on mini session day, this was my year for rain. Honestly, it was hard to find a day in October when it didn't rain?! I heard we had 28/31 days of rain and we set records in the rainfall department. The forecast said rain in the late afternoon, so I scrambled and moved up the starting time of all my sessions the night before. And sure enough the rain came early and it started to fall as we were driving to the location. Thankfully, it was more of an off/on drizzle and I was able to shoot most of the minis either under or near a large tree which did provide some cover. All of my families deserve GOLD stars for rolling with the weather and making the best of the situation! I am so thankful for each one of you and can't wait to see your Christmas Cards this year!

Wells Family
This session was a year in the making, so it was wonderful to finally meet the Wells family. Shannon and Lin are from the Washington DC area, but consider Spokane to be home after living here for the last four years. Lin is in the military, so hopefully they will be able to stay in the northwest. I love that Shannon wanted to include her parents, sister, and nephew in this session as well. The photos of Butch and Joyce with all their grandkids are some of my favorites and the image of just the two of them is priceless! They will celebrate 44 years of marriage this December! Wonderful to meet you all!
