Results

This is my SIXTH year to participate in the Shoot + Share Photography Contest. Every year this contest grows exponentially and the competition gets tougher and tougher! The 2019 contest included photographers from all over the world with over 583,000 images entered (this is up from 412,000 last year!). The voting process is about 3 weeks long and over 90 million votes were cast from 144 different countries. This contest truly brings the photography community together and allows all levels of photographers to share their work and inspire others. Participating in this contest year after year fuels my motivation to work harder and become a better photographer. There is so much talent involved with this contest and truly some of the most incredible images I have ever seen. You can’t help but be inspired!

I received my final results over the weekend and found out that I had one image place in the top 100, one as a finalist (top 500) and several more in the top 10%, 20% and 30%. Thank you to all the amazing families, seniors, and kids in these images. You all inspire me to keep pursuing my dreams!

PS. This contest is open to all photographers of all levels and it’s FREE to enter! If you are a photographer, you should enter next year!

Please note that all the images in this post are screenshots from the Shoot and Share website and not high resolution images. They look a little "soft" to me...the high res image is definitely sharper. :-)
