Snider Family | Library Session

This just might be one of my all time favorite sessions! Questionable weather + client coming from Pullman + no option to reschedule = come up with Plan B. We ditched our original Greenbluff idea and decided to shoot at the Downtown Spokane Library. I am officially in love with the library...beautiful big windows, great light, and a perfect setting for this sweet family with two little girls. Nick, Jen, Mia, & Aly - I am so grateful for the opportunity to capture these special moments and watch your precious family grow!

Hammond Family

It's safe to say that this family is a favorite of mine - my sweet sister and her adorable family. This session took place over Labor Day weekend while we were at our family cabin on Pend Oreille River - beautiful location that holds such special meaning for all of us (thank you Mom & Dad!). My sister and I are only 17 mos. apart in age and it wasn't always easy growing up with just one school year between us (I take full responsibility for making it hard), but thankfully I grew up and sincerely adore her. I love that we live just 15 minutes apart from each other which means our kids have built such strong bonds as cousins. Kari is an amazing mom, wife, and 2nd grade teacher! My niece is so beautiful (she is only in 8th grade, but I'm already excited to take her senior photos!) and my nephews are so handsome!

Love all 5 of you!

Kelli | Class of 2014

I met Kelli at her shoot, but I have known her mom and dad since High School. Are we really old enough to have kids in high school?!  Still hard to believe!

Kelli's words...I was shy as a little girl but also outgoing. I am excited for my senior year. I think it will be fun to go to college. I wonder what I will be when I grow up. I wish winter ended right after Christmas every year. I save EVERYTHING. I always make time for my friends. I can't imagine life without Starbucks. I believe in Jesus. I love my amazing family and friends.

Kelli - I enjoyed getting to know you during your session and wish you the best of everything for your senior year!

Davis Family

This family has been a part of my life since 2004. They were the very first family I met when I started working for JDRF. Over the years, Illa wore many hats for JDRF - volunteer, committee member, board member, board president, mentor and finally I hired her as my employee. In addition to all the things she did for JDRF, Illa became my dear friend. She has a heart of gold and a true giving spirit. I worked for JDRF for 8 1/2 years and I owe a HUGE part of my success to the partnership, love, and support provided by this family. They were literally by my side every step of the way. Megan, their youngest daughter, was in the 6th grade when they last had professional photos taken. Megan is now in college and it was time for some updated photos! Can't wait to see a new family photo hanging over your fireplace!

Whitney | Class of 2014

I adore this girl and can't thank her enough for taking a chance on me and agreeing to be my very first Senior! Whitney is so beautiful (inside + out!), a cheerleader, a dancer, a lifeguard, former Miss Inland Empire's Outstanding Teen, and so much more. She is wise beyond her years, soft spoken, easy going, and beautifully confident. And last but not least, she pretty much drove the early morning band carpool for her little sister (and my daughter) all last year when she was just a junior in High School. I have known her since she was in elementary school and it's hard to believe that she is starting her Senior Year!!! I can't wait to see all the fabulous things she will do this coming year. Her future is bright!

From Whitney...

I am excited for what my future holds.

I think that every single second of my life is a chance to better someone else’s life, and that no one should take such a powerful gift as that for granted.

I wonder what my life would be like if I wasn’t blessed with the opportunities I have been thus far.

I wish to do something great with this life I’ve been given, and to live every second for god.

I savor every moment that I get to spend with my friends and family.

I can't imagine my life without the people I have supporting me now.

I believe that everyone has the potential to be great but it’s the choice you make to be great that sets you apart from the rest.

I promise myself that I will be able to look back on my life when I’m older and confidently say that I have made a positive difference in at least one person’s life.

I love my family, friends, god, and every single person who has left a mark on my life whether good or bad because it has helped shape the person I am today.
