Hayden | One Year!

This little sweet pea is celebrating her FIRST birthday today!! Hayden just started walking, loves the water, and loves to eat! She also loves to play peek-a-boo and showed me how she can hide behind her skirt! She looked so cute in that little denim shirt and I fell in love with her sweet personality! Happy birthday baby girl! 

2015 Mini Sessions | Save the Date

School is back in session and Fall has arrived! This is my favorite time of year! Last year I offered mini sessions for the first time and I am excited to offer them once again for 2015! I tried something a little different and decided to announce the mini sessions to my current clients first (as a thank you for their business!) with the idea of offering any remaining spots to new clients a few days later. The sweet people in these images are near and dear to my heart. I met Shaliena in high school nearly 25 years ago and we have been friends ever since....college, weddings, babies, moves, jobs, and so much more. She has been on my side through it all. I don't get to see her as much as I would like as they live on the other side of the state, so the time we do have together now is so precious. They made a special trip into Spokane from the river during their vacation this summer to do this session and I am so thankful are schedules aligned to make this evening possible. Sophie is 12 and quite possibly the most photogenic 12 year old I know! Wow! James is 10 and had me cracking up with all his different funny faces and poses. I love you all dearly and look forward to seeing you again soon. xo

This session included two sets of Romey families…one living right here in town and the other visiting from Cairo, Egypt! All of them were together for a brief period of time this summer and I am so glad they made time for family photos and of course a few shots with all the cousins…what a great group of kids with some seriously fun personalities (ages 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, and 12)!
